Hearing aids in Toulouse
A hearing aid consists, at a minimum, of a microphone that picks up the acoustic signal and converts it into an electrical signal. It may be omnidirectional, directional or actively directional; an amplifier that processes this electrical signal and converts it into a sound wave; an earpiece that reproduces the sound wave as an acoustic signal in the ear canal, or a vibrator that converts the electrical signal into mechanical vibration.
There are various types of hearing aids available, such as behind-the-ear models, in-the-ear models, open-fit systems and RIC (Receiver-in-Canal) models with a remote earpiece.
A consultation with a hearing aid specialist in Toulouse will enable you, in collaboration with an ENT specialist, to identify the hearing aid best suited to your needs. You can book an appointment at: https://bahuaud.madare.dev/contact/

Audition Bahuaud offers digital hearing aids, which first appeared in the 1990s. They provide greater comfort for patients thanks to sound processing via a microprocessor that adjusts amplification through several setting channels, precisely tailoring the device to the patient’s hearing loss. They improve sound reproduction and reduce disturbances such as background noise, impulse noises, wind noise and feedback… Furthermore, they allow certain sounds to be prioritised according to the patient’s needs (such as amplifying speech…).
